Finding the Motivation to be a Wild Success

Maybe you've dabbled in internet marketing for a while, you decided it was interesting, and then you tried to pursue it. Have you hit a brick wall? If you feel like you can't find motivation to do it, you're not alone. All of us struggle with motivation at one time or another -- you just have to learn how to handle it.

Motivation isn't a permanent thing. You need to restore it regularly, just like you sleep to get rest and bathe to get clean!

First, try reminding yourself why you're working. Use tangible results like, “I'm working to pay my mortgage for the month. If I don't do the work, I don't earn the money and my home might be foreclosed.” Some people find this works in a hurry! If positive results motivate you more, picture what you'll do with your extra income.

Try to increase how much you want to succeed. Stack up all the positives that come with success against all the negatives that come with not succeeding and see which wins. If the negatives are stronger, find ways to make them better. For instance, if you're worried it's just a waste of time and you won't see money, remind yourself that you'll only devote an hour of time each day that you would have wasted sleeping more than necessary or watching a mindless TV show, and remember that you'll learn something new even from failure.

Finally, set achievable, reasonable goals to keep yourself on track and update them when necessary. If you're working towards a goal you don't feel is attainable, you'll be less motivated. A small goal like making your first sale is much easier to think about than making a full-time income until you are making regular sales.

Succeeding in internet marketing is largely a matter of motivation, so if you find enough of it, you can be a wild success!
